The First in a Series of Old West Adventures
The first in a series of old west adventures. Join young Lonnie as he learns the ways of the west!.
I have loved researching the U.S. Old West to create this story. It covers horses, cattle drives, horseshoes and even poker games. The main character is Lonnie, a young boy with no apparent roots, who lands in trouble right away. Here's a snippet: "Lonnie burst out of the saloon at full speed. He was running before his feet had started moving. He was in trouble, and he knew it. How it fell upon him was a mystery, but he knew when he picked up his last card that a fifth Ace would be a problem. What deck had two Ace of Diamond cards?" I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it! I hope to make it a series as there is so much to tell about the Old West.
Heartwarming, Life-Lesson Book!
An intricate story of mysterious human relationships. How we react can make a difference.
A shoulder leaning against the pane glass window, her finger hugging the small handle of a coffee cup, she stared blankly at the scenery. The sun felt good on her face. She was now huddled inside a trench coat, her beaded handbag measuring its place on the bench seat in the diner booth.
She had come here every morning for the past week. The waitress was kind, and let her sit in the same place. She sighed. It would be today, she knew.
“Can I get you anything today, Hun?” Laura, the waitress, asked.
She just sighed, and shook her head.
Emmaline's Time Travel
My newest time-travel book, "A Princess in Time" is now available as e-book, paperback or hardcover!
A shorter story about a young girl born to a king and queen in a medieval time who discovers that she can bend time and travel any 'when' she likes even though she is very young!
The old man was walking around the castle wall and leaning heavily on his staff. Wheezing slightly, he stopped at an archway that did not seem to lead anywhere. At the top of the archway, embedded in the stone structure, were odd looking symbols. The old man looked around briefly thinking, 'this will be my last time,' then reached up with his staff, tapped a few of the symbols, and vanished. A stunned, small boy gasped loudly, then bewildered, called out, "Grandfather?"
A Knot in Time Travel Trilogy
A Knot in Time Travel (3 book series)
Published June 6, 2021
My trilogy, a series of three books, is a great adventure for those who enjoy time travel and the old west!
They make great gifts!
THE KNOT IN TIME TRAVEL: The first book of the trilogy about Jedidiah Halliday and his horse Jasper...its time travel in the old west. Includes horses, cowboys, action, adventure, and inventions as they came into being...and an unusual method of hopping through time in the late 1800's and early 1900's.
"Hey man, take her to Saints Hospital,” said Mr. Haliday. Then he closed the door with a big slam. Susan jumped.
“Dude! Don’t slam the door!” said the man in front of Susan. She had no idea what a ‘dude’ was, but she was fine with no more slamming of doors. There was a loud noise, and the yellow stagecoach began moving! Without horses! Susan thought it smelled funny, and it was moving very fast! She was sliding on the bench. She didn’t know what to hold onto to keep from falling. She was getting very dizzy, and her stomach was getting upset.
THE KNOT IN TIME TRAVEL: The second book of the trilogy following Jedidiah's son Zeke Halliday and his horse Jasper's son Bullet...a continuation of time travel in the old west. Includes horses, cowboys, action, adventure, and inventions as they came into being...and an unusual method of hopping through time in the late 1800's and early 1900's.
Jedidiah struggled to find his feet. Carefully he began stepping over charred and splintered boards. He worked his way to a cleared space on the floor. He now realized he had landed in the hotel closet, and just as his tree had been destroyed, so was the closet now.

THE KNOT IN TIME TRAVEL: The third book of the trilogy following Jedidiah's grandson Bubba Halliday and his horse Jasper's grandson Opportunity...this continues the saga of time travel in the old west. Includes horses, cowboys, action, adventure, and inventions as they came into being...and an unusual method of hopping through time in the late 1800's and early 1900's.
Looking up, Jedidiah could no longer see any stars. Or sky for that matter. It seemed to be very dark all of a sudden! He stood up and bumped his head on something. It was soft. Some type of cloth? What would that be doing out here in the tree? One hand was still on the dark spot on the tree. He reached out with his other hand and found a door latch. A door latch? He pressed the thumb notch and a door opened. Daylight shone on him. He seemed to be in a tiny room, barely big enough for him to stand in. There was a horizontal pole with a bunch of short red jackets hanging on it.
The Start of Our Travels through Time!
A story about a boy who meets a very unusual man. That man becomes more than just a father figure. A story of growth, with an interplanetary twist! Full of mystery, and adventure, this story takes place in a small midwest town in the 1960's.
“This is more than a little unbelievable. Are you claiming this pile of pebbles in a jar is human? Or even extraterrestrial?” General Behr picked up the jar and shook it. The pebbles did not move but retained the shape of a man sitting.
“This is a preposterous waste of time and money. You have brought me tiny stones, not the target of our expedition. You are relieved of duty.” He picked up the jar again and shook it. This time the pebbles fell apart. “Stones!” he said and took the lid off the container and dumped them onto the table.
“No!” shouted Penelope, but it was too late. The pebbles scattered every direction and evaporated into thin air.
